6 times Christophe Gans almost changed everything

The Pact of the Wolves, silent Hill, Necronomicon, Starfix… Christophe Gans has continued throughout his career to push French and even international cinema to its limits. We talk about it with him.

The Pact of the Wolves has just come out in a superb 4K version, which should as a bonus then land on video. On this occasion, we had the chance to talk to its director, Christophe Gans. And if we have already devoted an article to his delirious fresco in costumes, we still had to address the rest of his rich career, not only as a filmmaker, but also as a journalist and cultural relay.

And it is an understatement to say that the guy was important for French cinematographies and cinephiles, even though many of his kicks in the anthill did not succeed. On video, we therefore come back to the major milestones he laid down and on the missed opportunities that dot his filmography.

Necronomicon, StarfixHK Video and even his particularly enticing abandoned projects: the director is never dry of anecdotes and fables revealing enough of the state of the big French machines. The icing on the cake, he even tells us about the progress of the film he is concocting, namely a new adaptation of silent Hill… We look forward !
