One of the best players of the Pro League season is arousing envy. One thing is certain: Casper Nielsen (28) will no longer be a Unionist next season.
Anderlecht continue to keep an eye on the Dane but his arrival is currently beyond the reach of the RSCA. The main candidate for his recruitment is Club Brugge. Last weekend, the people of Bruges made an official offer of €3.5 million.
In the meantime, the Unionists have decided to appoint Mogi Bayat to try to get the most out of the player’s departure. The Union informally refused this offer, stating that it hoped for a larger sum. A compensation of 7 million € is mentioned but should not be reached.
Negotiations with Club Brugge have also taken a serious hit and are even at a standstill. The Bruges management would have been negatively surprised by the involvement of Mogi Bayat, whose mandate was signed after the offer was sent, when they thought they were negotiating directly with the club and then with Nielsen and his entourage.
It is also whispered that the departure of the Dane will not be the only transfer in which Bayat will be involved. The Union is counting on him to negotiate the exit of several players.
