Disguised as UPS delivery men, armed men allegedly robbed a home in Schaerbeek: this is how they proceeded (video)

False delivery men wearing the uniform of the international UPS delivery service are said to have plagued the Brussels region. It was Haroun who reported the information to us via the orange Alert us button. “They pretend to have a delivery and once inside, they point their weapons to rob their victims”, he said. According to him, the facts would have taken place on June 20 in Schaerbeek.

Photos and video of the alleged thugs are circulating on social networks. In a video that seems to come from a surveillance camera, we discover two men wearing a uniform comparable to that of UPS delivery men. They enter a house, pretending to deliver a package. The local resident opens the door for them. After a few seconds, we see one of the delivery men threatening the resident. We guess a weapon. It is not known, however, whether it is fake or real. The delivery men then seem to drive the resident upstairs. No image testifies to what happened afterwards.

Many of you have sent us this video which is circulating on social networks, with the desire to “warn as many people as possible, especially the elderly who do not have access to social networks”.

At the moment, the facts have not been officially confirmed to us. Contacted, the Brussels North police zone, which includes the municipalities of Schaerbeek, Evere and Saint-Josse, refers to the Brussels public prosecutor’s office, which should communicate during the day.
