Lhe wait is over: After more than a year of investigation, confidential interviews, digging into presidential archives and sifting through thousands of messages, the congressional committee investigating the January 6 attack 2021 against the United States Capitol held its first public hearing on Thursday evening. Six to eight others will follow, the next one being already set for Monday, June 13, at 10 am.

Composed of seven elected Democrats and two elected Republicans, this commission has decided to strike hard and fast: it will present its final report in September, two months before the mid-term parliamentary elections promised to the Republican opposition.
