RFC Seraing: the club has found its new sports director

After the departure of its president Mario Franchi, the Seresian club continues to prepare the future of the Steelworkers with a new sports director, the experienced Carlos Freitas.

His resume speaks for itself. He held similar positions first in Portugal, at Sporting de Portugal (2006-2008 and 2010-2013), at Sporting de Braga (2007-2010). Then he went to Greece at Panathinaikos (in 2010), then in France at FC Metz (2015-2016), then in Italy at Fiorentina (2016-2019) and he returned to Portugal, at Vitoria Guimaraes (2019- 2021).

Carlos Freitas will therefore work with the new president Marc Sombreffe as well as the freshly recruited coach, José Jeunechamps. Seraing held on in D1A by beating RWDM Molenbeek.
