Scorn Trailer Shows Horrifying Bio-Maze Coming October 21st

In a new trailer for the upcoming horror game Scorn, developer Ebb Software and publisher Kepler Interactive have given a deeper insight into the game’s nightmarish world, a biomechanical maze whose aesthetic draws inspiration from the works of HR Giger, creating a truly unsettling interpretive experience. Horror fans can experience the world of Scorn just in time for Halloween, when it launches on October 21, 2022on Xbox Series X|S (day one with Xbox Gamepass) and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store).

Shown during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase earlier today, the trailer focused on the eerie setting of Scorn, a desolate hellscape where a now-ruined industrial civilization once stood. When players wake up isolated and lost in Scorn’s living maze, they must fend for themselves and find a way forward. Surrounded by visceral, meaty gear and unknown creatures, each deadly encounter must be carefully considered with limited ammo, health, and resources. To unravel the mystery of the world around them, players will have to solve intricate puzzles in search of disturbing answers and slowly come to terms with their existence.

Scorn’s twisting, interconnected environments evoke a sense of dread that’s uninterrupted by direct cues. They nurture a thrilling sense of discovery and encourage thoughtful progression in players bold enough to brave Scorn’s tense and mysterious journey. Players must call on their intuition – and perhaps the darker parts of their minds – to reach new areas and gain new abilities in their struggle to break out of the bio-maze.
