QFour searches were carried out in the district of Molenbeek-Saint-Jean on Thursday morning. This is reported Het Nieuwsblad and The Capital. The searches are part of investigations into the shootings that have taken place in the municipality in recent months, and target a certain family clan, a gang of drug traffickers who play a leading role in street violence. Three people were reportedly arrested.

The local police in the Brussels West zone (Jette/Ganshoren/Koekelberg/Sint-Jans-Molenbeek/Sint-Agatha-Berchem) and the Brussels public prosecutor’s office have refused to comment for the moment.
